Still Here
We are still here and doing good. Getting used to two kiddos is a challenge, but I think we are getting the hang of it. Katy is 5 weeks old today and this is unbelievable to me. It goes so fast!!! She is growing well, thanks to adding some supplemental formula in addition to her breast feeding. I'm workin' on trying to increase my milk production so maybe we can cut out the formula all together. I had a similar experience with Abby and quite frankly am still amazed I am able to nurse at all after my surgery. I'll try to post more regularly. Here are some pics, just because a post without pics is boring, right? Don't let these fool you, we are mostly all smiles around here these days. Katy has started giving me some pretty sweet little grins. The real kind, not the ones associated with you know what. Precious days. (sigh)

Loved seeing you TWICE while here. Your Katy is a cutie! And Abby - adorable as always. Have a safe trip back to the states and we'll see you in late August.
I just wanted to let you know I used your example of your neighbors being good friends and helping you out with Goldie when the baby was born in bible class to second graders. We were talking about being true friends from Proverbs and I said a good friend would help you even in the middle of the night. I had just read about Katy being born.
So great to hear an update from you! Katy is growing fast and both girls are adorable!!! We can't wait to see you when you're here later in the summer!!
Good luck with the breast feeding...I had the same issues both times with my two...I made it to 7.5 months (started supplementing at 4 months) with Blake, so I was glad for that. They will be healthy either way, so just take it easy and don't worry about it! Glad things are going well!! See you soon!
